An “accident” is not usually just an accident…. It is often caused by someone who acted in a way that the law deems negligent because that individual did not use reasonable care in preventing the “accident” from happening.

- Write down what you know about the accident while your memory is still fresh, and keep a detailed journal from the day you get in an accident. Take detailed notes about your injuries, and take photos of any bruises, bleeding, casting/splinting or cuts.
